Tai Chi Meditation Music Forum

Having been around music all my life, I have some pretty strong ideas about what it can and can’t do. I guess the reason I studied Music Therapy (transcript here, but who asked?) was because I always had a feeling about people and their connection to music. Most of us feel that connection, too.

During my studies, I molded the music therapy techniques to my belief in how creative arts affect us as humans beings, emotionally and in how we act. Tai Chi Meditation Music

This Tai Chi Meditation Music Forum is a place for people who listen to our album to have a place to discuss the songs themselves in any way they want. My hope is that your comments will lead us to be able to understand the qualities you love and obtain more liquid music that have similar qualities you talk about, based upon your likes and dislikes. Thanks, in advance, if you choose to comment. If you haven’t gotten a chance to listen to the Tai Chi Meditation Music Album (for Tai Chi, Yoga, Meditation, Chi Kung, Relaxation), you can go to dianegold.com/taichimusic Point of information: The songs selected for you by Pandora Radio are based upon the Music Genome Project, a project of categorizing music by its musical traits. This album has been shaped the same way. It is about this that we are excited to hear more. We truly want to know your reaction to each and every track in this unique album. If you haven’t looked already, here is a list of music genomes that exemplify music, according to the MGP. Can you pick out the few that are constant throughout this album?

    Joy in sound!

During my studies in music as well as my music therapy work, we saw the profound effect of music on the mind. A fun exercise might be to see what qualities (music genomes) are in your favorite songs and see if there is a known parallel between that genre and you.

When you comment, please reference what your relationship is to music: listener, player, composer, producer. tai chi listener, etc.
